Our second Montreal signature store is located in Mile End—a neighbourhood characterised by the influence of generations of European immigrants who settled there from the late nineteenth century, establishing a lively and eclectic community. Designed in collaboration with local architecture firm _naturehumaine, the 93-square metre space reflects the vibrancy of the area through references to the bright façades of nearby businesses.

A monolithic, centrally positioned demonstration sink finished with locally sourced limestone anchors the space; the stud wall has been fitted with a plywood structure comprising thin sheets that reveal contrasting colour as visitors pass by. One side offers a grey tone, visible from the exterior, while the other presents a subdued green—an intriguing effect that varies depending on perspective.

Products are displayed on thin brass shelving; positioned against the bright-hued backdrop, they appear almost to levitate within the intimate setting. Behind the retail area, the site accommodates a cleverly concealed back-of-house area comprising storage space, kitchen and meeting room.
